Richard Orlowski, age 89, of Mt. Prospect passed away at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, this past Monday, July 23rd, 2018. Born March 7th ,1929, in Chicago, IL, he attended St. Hyacinth’s Elementary School and Carl Schurz High School. Richard was a Korean War veteran and long-time employee of Commerce Clearing House. He most enjoyed Chicago Cubs baseball, various other sports and testing his encyclopedic memory watching TV’s Jeopardy.
Loving brother of Alice Kilian and the late Florence Sokalski and the late Helen Suwinski; dear uncle of Chris (Tom) Barr and the late Donald (Linda) Suwinski; great uncle of Mark Suwinski, Andrew Barr, Douglas Barr and Katherine “Katie” Barr.
Visitation will be Friday July 27th, 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 700 S. Meier Rd., at the intersection of Golf Rd., (Rt 58) and Meier Rd. in Mt. Prospect, IL, 60056.
Interment at Maryhill Cemetery.
